Texas v.1.02

[Introduction]

Texas was the first level I ever built for Interstate '76, and I received a lot of positive feedback about it. So due this, I have decided to re-release an updated version of it (v.1.02). Once again I have tried to iron out all the known bugs in it, but there is still probably more in it somewhere. If you come across any, please E-mail me, so I can fix them.

[What's new in v.1.02]

In version 1.02, I have adjusted some of the building and road layouts so that they are aligned properly. I have also fixed some of the terrain faults that were found and have added 2 new "spawn" points and a new music track.

This playground is designed for the original version of Interstate '76, and all of the official patches made for it. It will not work with the Gold Edition or Nitro Pack.

[Installing]

*--First time install--*

Go to the directory where you unzipped "Texas.zip" to. You should find the following files there:

--* Texas.lvl
--* Texas.ter
--* Readme.htm

Highlight the files Texas.lvl and Texas.ter. From the "Edit" menu select "Copy" and then go to the folder called "Addon" in the main Interstate '76 directory. From the "Edit" menu select "paste", the files will then be added.

That's it, now when you next boot Interstate '76, you will see "Texas V.1.02" has been added to the list of playgrounds.


*--Upgrading to v.1.02 from a previous version--*

Go to the directory where you unzipped "Texas.zip" to. You should find the following files there:

--* Texas.lvl
--* Texas.ter
--* Readme.htm

Highlight the files Texas.lvl and Texas.ter. From the "Edit" menu select "Copy" and then go to the folder called "Addon" in the main Interstate '76 directory. From the "Edit" menu select paste, you will receive a message that says "This folder already contains a file called *--a file name--*. Select "Yes to All". The files will then be replaced.

That's it, now when you next boot Interstate '76, you will see "Texas V.1.02" has been added to the list of playgrounds.
