I do this that Fix that wine user posted looks interesting though, be it with some cleaning up first. From what I understand I removes the need to enable the compatibility setting in properties, which could be helpful especially since those options don't always work for everyone. Of course It'd probably just be easier to just enable those compatibility options.
And like I said, a gog users said the patch doesn't work on windows, then again maybe he miss understood what it does (thought it was a magical patch that's suppose to solve all his issues).
