Heheh, well, if I VSync it, it should force the FPS down to the monitor rate. That's one solution I was thinking about. Might be able to combine it with the wonky-textures fix idea, as there's a few commonalities there. Definitely more interested in getting the multiplayer working 100% well first th...

Interesting find. I think a more proper fix would be to time-regulate the flamethrower and AI, however :P perhaps this is something I could also look into when I get some time.

-WORK IN PROGRESS- Working internet games in vanilla I76!

http://cs.uwindsor.ca/~peelar/ Drop this DLL in your game folder and ensure port 21157 is forwarded to all clients playing the game. Only one router per IP address is supported currently, but I plan to fix this. Also, only vanilla I76 is guaranteed to work. Gold -may- work, but I make no promises! T...

Have you guys had any success in getting it working with I76? If not, just wait a while for a couple of new stable versions to come out, and try again :)

Actually, you don't need to configure it at all really. I just had a game of starcraft on it. It can also emulate IPX, so you can run I76 on a LAN game and see servers that are running on other LANs. Think of it as a VPN. EDIT: Anyways, yeah, I figured maybe competitons could use it so people with r...

A solution!

Hey all, it's been a long time since I've posted, but recently I found something that will help just about everyone here who uses a router. www.hamachi.cc It's software that bypasses routers and creates a virtual network with computers over the internet. What does this mean? It means that once again...

Hmm...I'm not quite sure, I've never tried 98SE myself. It probably has the same API and stuff as 98 though, and that would make I76 or Nitro work on it.
