Just a note to say that the National Novel Writing Month is happening in November. Some peeps from a forum I visit are signing up to it. For me, it looks like an impossible task, but there may be someone here who'd like a good excuse to flex some fiction muscles.

Interesting approach too -- write as much as you can as fast as you can, even if it sucks. If I had the kind of free time necessary to pump out 50,000+ words in a month, I'd probably even give that a try.
Maybe I can use that as a good excuse to dig out those two Interstate story outlines that have been sitting relatively untouched on my HD for the past year or so and start writing again...
