I was only gone tuesday and wednesday, and did post stuff on thursday and friday. I didn't post anything on the weekend, but haven't been doing that for several weeks now -- did you just notice now?

Next chapter is going up now...

No, I had noticed that you haven't been posting on the weekends, I just needed my fix, and work was really dragging today. I don't mean to come across as a punk, but this story's really good!

Depending when i get home from work, I can't always get it posted during the day, but I usually try to get it up by 5:00pm (central time) - if it's not up by then, it means i'm either busy, or not at home, so you'll just have to wait

I posted the next chapter early, and tomorrow night (Wed. the 24th), sometime between 11pm and midnight (central time) i will be posting the entire next scene, rather than just the next chapter.

Also note that there will not be any updates for a few days following that, due to the fact that I probably won't be around to post any.

Here's the (almost) final tally, not counting the Epilogue which we're still working on:

88 Chapters
175 Pages (MS Word, size 12 font, single spaced)
578 KB (.doc file)

Just for comparison, the old joint story from the GUN board (now called "High Stakes) was around 65 pages in size 12 font. The chapters weren't numbered, but I doubt it even comes close.

Here are the final stats, according to the Word Count tool in MS Word:

181 -- Pages
89,921 -- Words
407,456 -- Characters(no spaces)
497,964 -- Characters(with spaces)
2,160 -- Paragraphs
9,770 -- Lines

But don't worry, we aren't done yet -- that's just the theatrical release. The DVD version will have all sorts of extras
