Hey kids!

Looks like this TNE may have a little bit of a conflict of interest with ol' Light' and a certain "holiday"....

That doesn't mean I won't try to host up a couple games for ya!

See you in about 10 hours...

...make that a little less than 6 and I already know where we're going to start...

I'd like to join your multiplayer server though I have never made this experience before. I have never played this game online but I guess it's worth to catch up on this.

Could you send me links to all the stuff I need to "Make Interstate '76 online again"? :D

I'm currently using the Interstate '76 Arsenal version from GOG.com with dgVoodoos Wrapper. But I still have my original (German) game discs.

Hey dude,

There's a *TON* of information on how to join multi-player games over on the Tech Support Forum.

Start there and if you have any questions we'll see what we can do to help.

Thanks it works great so far

The only problem I encounter is that the mouse in the main menu "laggs" uncontrolable while passing thru Glide or D3D. In further screens the cursor disappears.

This only happens by playing via the Nitro.exe. The I76.exe works fine.

I guess the difference is that I76.exe handles the menu differently. The aspect ratio and resolution change initially when you start a mission. Nitro.exe directly loads the menu in the forced resolution via dgVoodoo which seems to be the reason for the mentioned problem.

Any suggestions?

Uninstall DGVoodoo and try nGlide.

Thanks thanks. Nitro.exe won't run. It doesn't work either in D3D or Glide or with dgVoodoo or nGlide  Any further ideas?

The game always crashes with an "Unhandled Exception". The only mode which runs is DDraw. But yes it's unplayable due to exorbitant frame rates.

The I76.exe works fine so far in all modes.

My system:

i5-3570K
AMD R9 270X
Windows 10 x64

I personally prefer dgVoodoo because you can limit the Frames to 30 FPS. That means the A.I. and weapon sounds work very well.

with dgvoodoo, still I have to reduce sound performance in sound property. but not sure for win10.
dgvoodoo :aspect ratio and resolution , you have to choose one of reso in glide tab.
also in glide tab,
LFB access :enable LFB access
check : use hardware cache buffers when poss.
check : use fastwrite for unmatching formats.
do not check : disable texture tiles.
check closer to a real hardwawre.

texturemem size 65536kb
reso : whatever you want. but you can't choose aspect ratio so if you choose 1920*1080 whide, picture of
game will be stretched.

Are you sure you placed dgvoodoo into both of i76 and nitro folder?

btw, poor diver made a 10MB animation-gif file....o scratch. Don't open with webbrowser, download to watch is better.

I managed to get this working by some tweakings with dgVoodoo!

I rather recommend to use dgVoodoo than nGlide because it allows you to VSync I76 to ~ 30 FPS. All issues concerning the AI or weapons are gone.

Nope.

The magic number is 24.

I got $1 that says your flamers still don't work (other than the Ball o' Flame)

...that minor point aside, I assume we'll see you sometime on our Tuesday?
