...just Tex and I out there again this week, kids...
This is what caused the last "lull" in the TNE and will likely be the cause if it happens again.
*ONE* more person makes it 100% more entertaining for only a 50% increase in attendance...and you know you want to...so figure out how to cut (2) hours out of your busy lives and have some fun.
Sorry about not hosting up a game last week. I got jammed up down in Fresno and by the time I got home and situated even Tex [FD] was ready to call it a night.
yah, me too tired to play, exhausting night. went to the houston livestock show and rodeo. good time but you walk ten plus miles getting in out and around.
next week i should be good to go, and get in early. mrs. tex will be out of town.
Ok so I'm pretty sure this is the wrong part of the site to post this and I'm sorry for breaking that format. I was introduced to I76 way back in 1997 I think via the pack in disk with the Microsoft force feedback joystick. This game absolutely blew my mind and I became obsessed with it. I logged on using my aol dialup at the time at any opportunity that I could to play online and played every single melee and trip option I could. I bought the nitro pack when it was released and played every mission on that as well, multiple times. This game has a permanent place in my heart and I purchased it again a couple years ago on GOG. I mean this game shaped my imagination during my childhood and left so many positive memories. But here we are, 2015, nearly 20 years after my first encounter with this masterpiece. I wish i could partake in one more time exploring the i76 universe with you guys, I really do. Just had a baby a couple months ago. Just bought a house. Money is so tight right now...but I want to let you guys know that I really appreciate what you're doing. I just happened to be looking up things about interstate 76 and here is this website, preserved perfectly from back in the time that I was active in this game and downloading custom cars and maps and downloading the soundtrack...it made me very happy tonight to see this. Thanks guys. And maybe someday if you keep it up you'll see me log in someday. It's been so many years...and someday I want to take that black manta with the flames on the side down memory lane one more time. I hope you guys are there for it too.
