OK, kids...

We need to figure out who was in "Capture Da Town" so someone other than myself can host joinable games.

Yes, they appear in the scopes and yes, they appear in game but they do not provide any game details or allow anyone to join the game.

This is the same problem TEX is experiencing so we're working on it...ish.

yes I was hosting but still having the prob with no one being able to join my game but i'm so glad u could see it on the server scope and also was at least able to join one u hosted and a nother person hosted so I least know that i'm a step closer to were I ben trying to get too witch is playing again online also sorry I took so long to reply they just activated my account for here today also I posted under the help forums maybe u can help with that or direct some one that can thanks for your time.....

So, I'm not 100% sure if you were crashing out of the game or just joining and exiting *OR* if you got Nitro Patch III applied and got Nitro Pack stabilized.

I was havin the dreaded spinning hud prob or what ever u call it were its spinning round the car then I crash out the game but found out the patch 3 fixes it by a nother player that night so i think I have that much fixed but when I used the separate dll folder from the patch3 to fix the I guess its for the router issues I tried to join the battlezone1 server it would just say im not connect to the internet even though im clearly on it lol but I took it bck out and used the one from patch2 dll folder I could get on the server and join games just don't think I can host still idk........ that's were im at so far

OK.

For Nitro Patch II to work correctly you need to overwrite all the files in your installation directory with the ones included in the ZIP.

Though, there is no guarantee that it will work.

As for the hosting problem, it seems that it's more common than we should be seeing unless you're on Windows 8 (which is essentially untested at this juncture) or you're using the same type modem as Tex.

Care to fill us in?

im on a router its a netgear n600 wireless duel band router the outside box its attached to idk sorry that's the best I can give cause its my parents setup cause we live far nuff in contry its all we could get I honestly don't care if I can host just as long as I can least enter other hosted games and play thanks if I can get any info ill try my best otherwise its the best I can do for now ..... o and im on win xp pro my specs are dell latitude c400 with a pentIII 1200mhrz ,1.20gighrz,768 ram ddr2 with a intel 82830 graphics card hope any this helps but I seem to be running good just cant seem to host .

There is a test game up right now so why don't you see if you're patched up and stable?

The easiest way to tell is to damage your car (by ramming into something) and if you don't crash, you're stable. If you drop we'll need to look at some other possibilities.

I see the test game but it don't say by who its just say test by unknown and wont let me join it witch is weird being I was able to join your lightfoot so idk im ganna try some thing and try again.......

So I have nitro working on several machines but I cannot host a game that is joinable from another machine.

windows 8 IS tested - i am playing on win8 and win8.1
wit nitro from gog.com and with patch v3

and it just works.

Yeah I installed a GOG copy with nitro patch3 on windows 8.1 and everything is fine except I can't get info on hosted games or join them and the games I host can't be joined.There is not many people playing to test different things.If the problem is with my setup over here it isn't going to help testing with two pc's on the same network.

Yeah that was always my problem.I was going to sleep about the time the TNE was starting.Maybe someone could leave a game up after the event is over I could try it in the morning.

Is there any night anyone would be interested in scheduling some trouble shooting/combat ?I see "guests" on this board everyday.Fire up those games
