It seems kind of odd to me that out of 7,000,000,000 people on the planet that only (2) of us are interested in playing this game...

The GoG download is solid, works with the patch and is easy to install.

What gives?

Make that three! I started a new job in a new state but I'm still here and I still have hope someone will resurrect this jewel before I lose it!

I have my quasi-legacy system setup; I'll see if everything is still where it should be and report back.

To be fair, there's actually 3.25 of us with "Wing" counting as .75 of a player and KIV another .5...

I'm still out there, somewhere, unable to play because my current wired setup trades "security" for being able to play I'76.

...at least Tex and I are getting practice at Ruins...Wingnut *OOA*, too.



No clue what would be getting blocked if you've got the patch installed, though we've had some issues with the Activision folder in the Program Files (X86) directory not having proper rights.

If you can't copy the patch files into the I76Nitro folder without it giving you an error (or complaining about it) there's a chance the patch didn't take.

Keep us apprised of the situation.
