What's the easiest way to determine if a map has a regen point on it? Been downloading and playing a bunch of old Instant Melee maps for Nitro such as Mapleton and it's a pain trying to find out if the maps have regen stations/points on them.

Nope.
Sorry. Every map needs to be explored.
Some regen bunkers are ambient and some maps have alternate locations (like the barn at the end of Destruxion, TX)...

Some of the map makers back in the prime I76 days must've gotten really creative then. On Mapleton & Pleasant Valley I can't find them for the life of me. The .CBT files have Regen points defined so they have to be there somewhere.

You don't *NEED* regen bunkers on any map. You only need spawn points. There's a chance they just don't have one...
However, both these maps have them. I won't spoil your fun.
Good luck!

Barns! Note to self - check for barns. Found the regen point on Mapleton - in a barn, of course. Going to dig for a barn on the Pleasant Valley map next.

I think the one in Pleasant Valley is a real bunker...

Damn, it must be hidden real good then. Big white tent with green stripes and a red cross would stick out like a sore thumb in the open.

Looking at what was placed before and after it I'd say try and find a 4-way dirt intersection and a "Landslide" sign...

That sounds oddly familiar. I think it's within that labyrinth of dirt roads and wooden bridges.

I went full cheapskate and used the Rattler variant cheat for the heli and flew around the map and came up dry. Most interesting thing I could find was a farmhouse on a hill right near the edge of the map with an army Huey next to it.
The bunker is defo around this area of the map - the aforementioned "dirt roads and bridges labyrinth"

There's a *SMALL* chance that the object is malformed and not visible on the map (since I haven't actually looked for it for you)...
...but I'll fire up the map sometime between now and then and see what I can see. The "quick and dirty" way would be to edit the file and replace the bunker object with something massive and easy to find like a tunnel, then roll it back once you know where it is...

Have you found the "Landslide" sign yet?

Nah, I haven't. I've also been exploring the massive Lynchburg map as well.
Found one of Lynchburg's regens - in a courtyard with 2 blue warehouses.
lmao found the pleasantville regen
